NT's roots reach back to the early nineties when the band was founded by a few young metal enthusiasts to follow the footsteps of Swiss metal innovators such as Coroner and Celtic Frost. Through the years, the band went through countless underground gigs and several line-up changes while musical skills steadily improved and the definite NT sound was approached. The band's demo CD, released in 2003, provided a first insight into NT's complex yet heavy compositions and their future potential. Despite further line-up changes (i.e. the departure of lead guitarist Kuzmic towards Disparaged resp. Cataract) NT kept on writing new and even more intriguing song material, redefining their style and now are back with their first full-length album "Painking": A ten track groove monster packed with complex riffs, progressive rhythms and sick vocal lines unleashed by one of the most inventive metal bands that has ever come out of Switzerland.
